the descendants

i didn't know a lot about the film going in except that it took place in Hawaii, starred George clooney, and that the story captured the relationship between a father and his daughters. i'm a sucker for entertainment that is real, raw and beautifully set-this film did not disappoint! george clooney was subtle in delivering a character that was honest and human. I loved every exchange that his character had, especially with his older daughter. The script was intentional and completely captivated me; and here I am, the day after seeing the film, still stuck in kauaii with the king family!
